Matthew Frazee serves as RFF’s founder and managing principal. With nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate and advisory services, Matt brings a proven process to his client’s transaction strategy creation and execution. A tireless client advocate, Matt produces market-leading outcomes that have earned numerous local, regional, and national occupiers’ trust and loyalty. Matt is widely respected amongst colleagues and industry peers as a thought leader on corporate real estate trends and a “go-to” resource for local market intelligence. 


Primary focus in consulting mid-cap organizations on portfolio strategy and management, helping high growth startups mitigate long term occupancy exposure and advising privately held firms and non profits on local market transactions, Matthew has lent his expertise to clients on hundreds of lease and purchase negotiations, asset acquisitions/dispositions projects, financial and market analyses, lease audits and portfolio diagnostic consultations. 


His approach to real estate consulting is aimed at creating and executing upon strategic opportunities which exist throughout site selection, deal and lease term negotiations and post occupancy phase of the transaction cycle. Matt's clients have come to expect a thorough engagement process anchored by deep market data analyses and segmentation, real time local market intelligence and customized weighting metrics applied to the various decision making criteria.


A 2003 of graduate of Eastern Illinois University, Matt received his Bachelors of Science while garnering Dean List’s honors. While at EIU, he was also a four year NCAA intercollegiate athlete, earning varsity letters as member of  the Ohio Valley Conference championship football teams in 2001 and 2002. 


Matt is a resident of Charlotte and enjoys spending his free time with his wife Caroline and three children Fitz, CJ and Mary Margaret while coaching youth athletics and staying active outdoors.
